Who we are

imiatlas.com is run by Imiatlas. For anything about your data, email contact@imiatlas.com.

We collect as little as we can, never sell personal information, and never share it for advertising.

Site analytics

We count page views, searches, visa-category filters and which country guides are opened, along with device type and browser family.

We do not use analytics cookies or store any identifier in your browser. Visitors are counted with an anonymous hash of the IP address and browser that changes every day; the IP address itself is never stored.

Analytics records are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Accounts

Signing in with Google is needed for the AI advisor and the application tracker. We store your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture link, when you joined and last visited, and how many AI questions you asked each day (to apply the daily limit).

We use one cookie, only after you sign in, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Daily question counts are deleted after 90 days.

Application tracker

If you track an application, we store what you enter: destination, visa type, stage, reference number, notes, milestone and deadline dates, and your document checklist. Reference numbers, notes, milestones and checklists are encrypted. Only you can see them.

Subscribers who keep reminders on get emails before their deadlines, sent through our email provider (Resend). We never contact immigration authorities or share your applications.

AI advisor

Questions you send to the AI advisor are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate an answer, and Google handles them under its Gemini API terms. We do not store chat conversations. Please do not include passport numbers or other sensitive personal information in your questions.

Visa photo tool

Photos you use in the visa photo tool are processed in your own browser and are never uploaded to us. To do this, your browser downloads the face detection software from public file servers (jsDelivr and Google Cloud Storage), which see your IP address like any website you visit.

Policy update emails

If you subscribe to policy updates, we store your email address and language, and use them only to send those updates.

Consultation requests

We no longer accept case review requests. If you submitted one earlier, we keep the details you entered only to respond to it, and delete them automatically after 12 months.

Partner links

Some pages recommend services from partners, such as insurance or money transfer, marked “Partner”. If you sign up through one of these links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We count clicks on these links without identifying you, and share none of your information with partners.

Where your data is kept and who processes it

Our server and database run on Google Cloud in the United States. Google also provides sign-in and the AI advisor; Resend sends reminder emails. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu (your picture, top right) > “Delete my account”. This immediately deletes your account, your AI usage counts, your tracked applications and any policy-update subscription for your email address.

You can also email contact@imiatlas.com to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you, including newsletter sign-ups or an old consultation request. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

The site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
